CASEL District/School SEL Team Training
One of the guiding principles of effective social and emotional learning implementation is the involvement of family and community. There is strong research to suggest that when 广东11选5, school and community collaborate, learning initiatives have more positive, lasting outcomes.
Social Emotional Learning Overview
Research indicates there is a direct relationship between student achievement and social and emotional learning. This session provides educators with understanding what SEL is; the history of SEL in Illinois; an overview of the SEL standards; the research on SEL; connection of SEL and other initiatives; strategies to embed SEL in instructional design and practice, etc. These are sessions can be customized and presented for school boards, parent groups, and/or district or school teams or whole staff (45 min – 2.5 hours).
Implementing Social Emotional Learning: Technical Assistance/Coaching
Onsite assistance customized to support districts/schools in the development and/or implementation of an SEL plan; aligning SEL with district/school improvement efforts, mandates and initiatives; review of SEL instructional practices; and additional technical assistance as requested. Range of Days: Multiple/customized
Implementing Social and Emotional Learning System-wide to Improve Student Achievement (AA #1374)
This administrators academy will provide participants with the research and tools needed to support implementing Social-Emotional Learning system-wide to improve conditions for learning and student achievement. Participants will develop a one-year plan outlining next steps to address implementing SEL system-wide. (6 hours plus 1 hour outside work)
